Refugee families in the high-altitude Bekaa Valley endure brutal winter snowstorms in uninsulated shelters. With fuel prices skyrocketing, vulnerable families faced an agonizing choice between food and heating, leaving infants and elderly residents vulnerable to severe respiratory illnesses.

Our Ground Response & Direct Intervention

Hayaat Welfare Trust delivered an extensive emergency winterization package, providing families with heating fuel vouchers, heavy thermal blankets, reinforced waterproof tarpaulins, and hot nutritious meals prepared at our community distribution hub.
